About Me

I'm Lindsay, I have been a Paediatric Nurse for 26 years, and have seen first hand the difference sleep can make to children, teens and families lives. This sparked an interest in helping children and families with their sleep and I have completed courses and conferences on sleep throughout the last couple of years.

 

The Contented Sleeper began with a passion for helping children and their parents find rest and relaxation. As a parent and paediatric nurse I understand the challenges that come with sleepless nights and the impact they have on the entire family.

 

Children tired during the day, unable to concentrate in school, dozing off and at home tired at the wrong time of day, falling asleep late or waking multiple times a night.

Teens who can't wake up, struggle at school, evidence shows that lack of sleep has a significant impact on mental health, making them less resilient.   

Parents exhausted, not feeling they are giving their best at home or at work, no evening to themselves as children and young people are falling asleep very late or needing company to sleep.
